Even though the holidays are upon us, it’s good to know we can feed our families and friends fabulous food made healthier.  The best part is seeing them enjoy our kitchen creations with a smile on their face.

If you’re looking for a healthier after dinner cookie to serve with coffee, there was a delicious butternut squash biscotti recipe from last week that looks divine.  (I think I’m going to add carob chips to these.  Yum!)  You might also check out these griddle cakes for Christmas morning.

My Submission

Yesterday I shared a simple Whole Grain Belgian Waffle recipe that’s made from grains, not flour.  I’m serving them as part of our Christmas morning breakfast.  You make the batter ahead of time and let it sit overnight, so it’s simple to prepare in the morning.
