It’s Tuesday again which means more incredible, healthier recipes!
A small change – you have to link to this post before you can add your recipe using Linky Tools. I’ve been spending too much time emailing people who forget to add a link.
Last Week’s Healthier Highlights
I’ve been able to see which SIT submission gets the most clicks through my Linky Tools dashboard for several weeks now. It never fails that your favorite is different than mine, so I thought I’d start sharing a couple “Reader Favorites” along with my picks.
Reader Favorites
- Dairy-free Chocolate Coconut Ice Cream from A Mom on A Mission
- Blueberry Coffee Cake from Cara’s Cravings
Healthier Highlights
- Overnight Oats from Live Free, Gluten-Free
- Chocolate Strawberry Blender Ice Cream from Raia’s Recipes
- Green Lentil Salad from Gluten-Free SCD and Veggie
- Homemade Baked Tortilla Chips from Glutenista
Linking Up Guidelines: PLEASE READ!
- Please link back to this post NOT A STATIC “BLOG PARTY PAGE” so that your readers can find the recipes here.
- Link to your individual post, NOT your home page.
- Recipes DO NOT have to be sugar-free or gluten-free – just healthier in some way. The idea is to share our ideas and inspire each other in the kitchen.
- Please don’t link give-aways and book reviews without recipes or contests – the intent of this event is to compile recipes that give people options.
- (Optional) When you link, please tell us who you are and what you’re cooking. For example, I might enter: Angel Food Cake (Amy @ Simply Sugar & Gluten Free)

Hi AMy,
I tried to link back first, after I already put all the information in, and the linky is not picking up my post. After spending 10 minutes of my precious time trying to link I just gave up. And I removed your link from the post. Afterall, that is only fair. I find this back linking repetitious and unnecessary. I can’t waste time doing double work and it still doesn’t work.

@Jill, It was glitchy this morning. Technology isn’t perfect. No big deal if you choose not to link this week but if you want to the issues should be corrected.
Have a great day!

@Amy,
I did try again later and it worked without the preliminary link back — so much better! Thanks!

Amy, are you trying to say you didn’t love my coffee cake? It’s ok, I can take it
Now I just have something higher to strive for: to become YOUR favorite! (Kidding! As always, thanks for the chance to participate in SIT, I really look forward to it every week!)

I’ve been trying to link up my GF lasagna recipe (uses zucchini as the noodles), but I can’t get it to work for me today (I have a link back to you on my post!). So, here’s my link:

I was just thinking this morning that I needed a cooking magazine subscription to get inspired. Nevermind, though! I will just come here on Tuesdays and get inspired for more than a week of yummy food!! Thanks everyone!

Great week of recipes! I’m looking forward to reading many of them.
I posted a recipes for a Garlic Mint Sauce (“pesto”) that is absolutely delicious, whether you serve it on vegetables, pasta, crackers, sandwiches (probably), or simply off a spoon.

I am sharing a low carb primeal made up of coconut, scrambled eggs and basil. It might not sound like the best combination but it does taste amazing! And, it costs me only $1.63!
