Welcome back to another week of Slightly Indulgent recipes – all fabulously healthier.
One of my passions is helping people eat well and while still eating healthy. Thank you so much for coming back every week to help me with this mission.
My Submission
I don’t have one. If you haven’t noticed already, there haven’t been as many new recipes coming from me. There are many reasons, the biggest one being that I’ve been so busy. I’ll never again take 18 credit hours – and if I ever think about doing it please remind me!
I actually have some great dishes to share and the pics are already taken- I just can’t find the time to type them up.
This will all change soon, so hold on…don’t give up on me just yet.
And, I have some big news to share with you soon, which has kept me busy, too.
Last Week’s Healthier Highlights
In the mood for gluten-free buckwheat-quinoa bread? Or what about Strawberry-Coconut Pancakes? Joe loves ranch dressing, and sometimes I make it using my recipe but it’s always good to have another, healthier option.
Last Friday…
I just can’t resist sharing this with you – last Friday we built this cake live at a birthday party for Shakespeare. Chef Brown, the Executive Pastry Chef at school and Dallas’ Pastry Chef of the Year (yea, she’s incredible…) mentored a group of students in this incredible creation.
We were actually on a stage as the entertainment for the night. It was the experience of a lifetime. And the cake just knocks my socks off.
Linking Up Guidelines!!
- When you link, please tell us who you are and what you’re cooking. For example, I would enter:
Amy @ Simply Sugar & Gluten Free – (Spinach Florentine Potato Soup) - Please link to your individual post, not your homepage and link back to this post so that your readers can find the recipes here.
I hate deleting links but some get deleted every week.
If you find that your link has been deleted it’s because it doesn’t link to your post or you haven’t linked back here. E-mail me with questions or if you need help.

I love the Shakespeare cake! It looks marvelous – was it just as tasty, enough to possibly make the bard himself swoon were he still alive today? Shakespeare was my favourite in English.

My recipe is for brownies sweetened with stevia and no nuts, gluten, grain, dairy or eggs–yet still fudgy, chocolately and delicious.
