Welcome to Slightly Indulgent Tuesday! Thank you so much for coming by! I’m sorry that this was posted a few hours late today – between baby Nate and Nourished (which is this Friday!) I’m a little ragged around the edges.
I hope that next week I’ll be back to sharing Healthier Highlights as there have been so many creative recipes shared. In the meantime, browse last week’s SIT event and check out anything you missed.
The Blender Girl’s KitchenAid Stand Mixer give-away is still going on – drop by and enter if you haven’t already.

Happy Tuesday! I shared my recipe for Butterscotch Macadamia Nut Cookies.
This recipe was originally from King Arthur Flour. I made it gluten free and also a whole lot healthier than it used to be!
Thanks for hosting!

Hello Slightly Indulgent Tuesday!
Thanks for hosting us Amy, I’m wishing I could join you at Nourished!
This week I’m sharing Fabulously Frugal, Sprouted Lentils – how to turn 65 cents worth of organic lentils into enough sprouts to make 6 cups of soup!
Best wishes,

I’m new as well! So new, in fact, that I don’t quite understand how this works. I shall read and reread until I get it! haha

@Amy, we use a Canon Vixia HFR100 HD camcorder. It’s a good video camera for the price.

@Alta, Oh girl…are you going to bring me food when you come meet Nate?? (Just kidding…but we do need to organize another get together sometime in the future…maybe once we move….)

@Amy, Was thinking about it..
It won’t be bok choy and shiitakes though, cause that seems weird to me as a “bring-over” food. LOL

Hi Amy — I’ve linked some Crockpot Split Pea Soup today, one of my favorite soups. We like the flavor, and also how easy it is — since it takes so little time to start, then does the rest on its own.

Hey Amy,
It was so wonderful to meet you this weekend!! I truly appreciate all the effort you and Jen put into this event. I was so emotional today & completely overwhelmed (in a good way). It was fantastic to be surrounded by people who “get it”.
See you in Dallas in 2013!
xo,
Alison
