Happy new Year, Amy! I’m hosting the blog event Sugar High Friday with the theme “grain-free”, but don’t know if it’s okay to link? No recipe, just an announcement and ruling out the guidelines.

Hi Amy–Happy 2011! I feel so silly … I thought I didn’t have anything to link yesterday and then today I remembered the New England Clam Chowder I recently made. It looks very dedacent and tastes that way, too, but it’s really only slightly indulgent with the use of some coconut milk lightened with water and almond milk. I loved how it came together so quickly, using baked potato soup recipe as my base. ;-)

    Amy Reply:

@Shirley @ gfe, I am a sucker for clam chowder, Shirley! Can’t wait to check that recipe out.

Happy New Year to you, too!

Such wonderful entries already here — I’m so glad I’m feeling like eating again ;-) My Sauteed Cod Fillets are one my favorite ways to cook a healthy meal, quickly, that satisfies both my husband and me.

    Happy 2011!
