Last Week’s Healthier Highlights
My Picks
- Mock Cocoa Fudge from Real Food Forager
- Cashew Cream Spread from Saffron Crush
- White Chicken Chili from Tessa the Domestic Diva
Reader Favorites
- Blueberry Banana Bread from Sugar-Free Mom
- New Year’s Eve Buffet from Miz Helen’s Country Cottage
Linking Up Guidelines: PLEASE READ!
- Please link back to this post NOT A STATIC “BLOG PARTY PAGE” so that your readers can find the recipes here.
- Link to your individual post, NOT your home page.
- Recipes DO NOT have to be sugar-free or gluten-free – just healthier in some way. The idea is to share our ideas and inspire each other in the kitchen.
- When you link, please tell us what you’re cooking. For example, I might enter: Blackberry Kefir Smoothie (GF, SF)
Note: If you’re getting this in an email or an RSS reader, you can’t see all the tasty pics of dishes that have been shared at SIT. Hop on over to SimplySugarAndGlutenFree.com and find something you’re entire family will love!

This week I already have three posts to share: first I listed my 10 most popular posts from 2011 in my Top Ten Posts on Our Nourishing Roots in 2011, then I wrote about Before I Start GAPS, What Should I Do To Prepare?, and finally I am hosting a giveaway of one copy of the ebook called “What Can I Eat Now? 30 Days on GAPS Intro Diet”. So head over and see if you can win the copy, and then join in my GAPS Challenge!

I’m starting out 2012 by sharing a recipe for Kefir Sauerkraut. This ‘kraut is great if you’ve resolved to expand (or revive) your fermentation practice this year – it’s a quick & easy, but also predictable!
Best wishes-
