Hi Amy! I am sorry to hear that SIT is going away, but as you said you need to set your priorities. I hope that all will go well for you and your family in 2014!!
Thank you for featuring my Chocolate Yule Log.
Take care in all your future endeavors :)

Hi Amy. Totally understandable! Kids are way more important than any blog post. God bless you and your future endeavors!! BTW, have you thought about just having SIT be on Pinterest only where people just pin to the SIT board. Just a thought and wouldn’t require anything of you except to accept people’s e-mails.

Thanks so much for hosting all this time – I’ve really enjoyed this blog hop! I’m sorry that it will be going into retirement, but very glad for you that you’ll have more time for your God ordained priorities. I’m a full time Mom, too, and I strongly support your decision : )

I am Adrienne’s son, and I do linkups for her. I accidentally shared her post on wheat putting poop in your blood as “Wheat Puts Blood in Your Poop?!?!?!”, while the proper title should be “Wheat Puts Poop in Your Blood?!?!?!” Is there any way you could delete it so that I could share the post with the right title? Thank you so much. Sorry about this.

Amy, I have really enjoyed this for a long time. You have your priorities straight, so enjoy those kids. I am a mother to grown twin daughters and I too thought I could do it all. I learned fast that you can’t, funny how that works. Best of luck.

    Hi Amy,
Thanks for the honesty about the Priorities in your life – and how VALUBLE your family is to you!! That is so awesome, and admirable. As a mom of a young one myself, I have done alot re-prioritizing and am still in process. I’ve been greatly inspired by the recipes posted, and also by your musings as your family has grown, here on your blog. God will bless you for your choice – and may your children rise up and call you blessed!
    One day at a time,

    Dear Amy,
I say Kudos to you….spending time with your children while they are still young is soooooo important for their development as well as your own in understanding what your kids are all about, where they’re going .
I’m sorry but you just can’t do that part-time and I applaud you for realizing that. Your blog has been very inspirational for me and helped me to see that even though I could not have gluten or sugar anymore there were actually alternatives… and good ones at that.
So thank you and maybe we’ll see ya back later on….

I am sorry to see this end, as it has been a great resource for splendid recipes. It will feel good, though, I’m sure, to not be spread so thin and to be able to give your boys your all.

Sad (and shocked) face for the retirement of SIT but happy face for those two little boys and all the other things that are important in your life. As a fan, I have been with you every Tuesday since I went gluten free in March 2011. Although I will miss all the great recipes linked up here each week, I understand your desicion and will continue to support you :-)

Bless you and your family and all the best as you move forward into an exciting new year!

What a valuable lesson you are modelling for those boys of yours! I have appreciated SIT and have learned so much about branching out and being more creative and flexible while maintaining a healthy diet. Blessings upon you and yours, Amy. I wish you great joy.

Sorry it’s the end of the blog party, as someone who runs a weekly link-up I can understand the amount of work that goes into it each week. Thank you for hosting the party for so long, love your blog and best wishes for this year :D

You’ve made a wise choice. SIT has been a special and heartfelt blog event, but your kids have only one mom, and I believe you’ll never regret making them your first priority.

Hope you’ll drop us a blog post from time to time to share a recipe and let us know how things are going!

to get my blog to rank for some targeted keywords but I’m not
seeing very good gains. If you know of any please share.
