Thank you for stopping by Slightly Indulgent Tuesday! We had so many healthy, creative recipes last week. It made choosing a few to highlight very difficult.
A Couple Reminders
There are two give-aways you might want to enter:
- A *free* ticket to Nourished Food Blogger Conference in April 2012 – it’s the only gluten-free & allergen friendly conference around. You’ll want to be there!
- iHerb.com is giving away 3 copies of my book with a baker’s gift pack filled with 7 different items – just in time for holiday baking.
A Gluten-Free Holiday takes place this Thursday at Diet, Dessert & Dogs! We’ll be sharing our favorite breakfast and brunch entrees to make the day extra special. Make sure to stop by, add your recipe and browse the other dishes there.
Last Week’s Healthier Highlights
My Picks
- Dairy-Free Peppermint Hot Cocoa from Maid in Alaska
- Garam Masala Roasted Chickpeas from Hobby and More
- Celery Root Mash from Recipes to Nourish
- Dairy-Free Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream from Gluten-Free Pantry
Reader Favorites
- Chocolate Haystacks from Premeditated Leftovers
- Muddy Buddies from The Rice of Life
Linking Up Guidelines: PLEASE READ!
- Please link back to this post NOT A STATIC “BLOG PARTY PAGE” so that your readers can find the recipes here.
- Link to your individual post, NOT your home page.
- Recipes DO NOT have to be sugar-free or gluten-free – just healthier in some way. The idea is to share our ideas and inspire each other in the kitchen.
- Please don’t link give-aways, contests, and book reviews without recipes – the intent of this event is to compile recipes that give people options.
- (Optional) When you link, please tell us who you are and what you’re cooking. For example, I might enter: Honey Oat Lace Cookies (Amy @ Simply Sugar & Gluten Free)

Hi Amy. I rarely join you because I don’t do a lot of baked goodies, but thought my shredded salads might fit in here. I love them because I can eat as much as I want and feel satisfied and smug. Just a little drizzle of agave or honey and some almonds and cranberries or olives seem to satisfy my taste for something slightly indulgent.

Come back often!

This is my first week following your blog and I’m overwhelmed by this Indulgent Tuesday thing. Or maybe it’s just because it’s the holiday season and there are so many great desserts on there – LOL! No really, this is awesome.
Glad I signed up to your site to know this has been posted. I don’t think I’ll have any trouble getting my menu plan set for the rest of the week.
And now I can’t wait until next week!

Thank you so much for hosting and for highlighting my Celery Root Mash! I shared a Creamy Herb Chicken Salad w/ Pomegranate recipe. The combo of the herbs, sweet crunch of the pomegranate arils and the creaminess of the dressing (made from ground sprouted sunflower seeds) is so yummy. Thanks again.

This Crispy Almond-Crusted Mahi Mahi recipe is one that I have been making regularly for over a year now since it is so popular at my house. I used to make it with sprouted flour, but now I do almond flour to make it GAPS-legal. Either way is scrumptious!
