My VitaMix

Healthy Whole Food Meals are Quick, Easy and Delicious!

A whole food diet is the key to a long and healthy life.  New recommendations encourage consuming more  fruits, vegetables and whole grains every day. This is easily accomplished by eating terrific-tasting, nutrient-rich whole food meals made in the Vitamix machine.

  • Make whole food juice that’s full of fiber and flavor in under a minute.
  • Cook creamy soup from scratch that’s hot, hearty and satisfying in just 4 minutes.
  • Make frozen treats that are full of fruit and low in fat in only 30 seconds.

Or, make my favorite VitaMix recipes on SS&GF:

  • Apple & Carrot Breakfast Cake
  • Papaya Banana Whole Grain Coconut Ice Cream
  • Almond Milk or Green Smoothies

VitaMix is offering a free 30-day trial and FREE Standard Ground Shipping!

It took me months to decide to spend the money for this blender – but I’m so glad I did. We use it daily for smoothies, soups, nut butters, desserts, salsas, and more.
Don’t wait forever like I did – buy your VitaMix now. Or, if you have questions please send me an e-mail at amy2804 (at) gmail.com.

My Favorite Food Scales

Every home cook should have a precise digital food scale for baking and cooking.  I use both models  – they will do the same thing.  The biggest difference between the two is that the OXO scale is has a pull out display in case you’re weighing something really big.

Both scales will weigh up to 11 pounds, which I do suggest. Some of the less expensive models will only weigh 2 or 5 pounds which makes them not as versatile when mixing large batches of gluten-free flour a a bigger recipe.
