I happened to just find your site. I have had to go starch free, sugar free and milk free….kind of a pain but I am starting to heal my acid reflux. The ice cream sounds really good and I am going to keep the recipe so…maybe one day I will be able to eat it again. Thanks

Wow, does this sound delicious! I've never made homemade ice cream in a traditional ice cream maker or any other way. If I made this for my husband, he would leap up and call me blessed! He *loves* mint ice cream. Hmmm…his birthday was yesterday, so maybe I should try to wow him with this??

Hi BJ – So glad you stopped by! Yes, I love mint, too. Especially with chocolate.

Terry – Welcome!! I've had acid reflux before and it's so miserable. I'm glad you're taking care of yourself. It gets easier. I promise. Make sure to look for me once I move at SimplySugarAndGlutenFree.com next week. :)

Ann – My husband will do anything for homemade ice cream. True story – my KitchenAid (this is how I make ice cream) was sounding like it needed to be oiled. So I sprayed it really good with WD-40. Don't do this – it immediately stopped working. My hubby went out the next morning to get a new KitchenAid for me. I even got the Professional model. He can't live without it. :)

This sounds really delicious. It's hard to beat the flavor of mint. I'm passing this onto my daughter who has a little guy with terrible allergies. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Heirloom Mint! I have to try this. Thanks for sharing this with us. I will be the hit of the family, and extended family too.

    Have a great weekend.

    Loving the new look!

I am trying to cut back on sugar, myself. Do you have a sugar-free cake frosting recipe?

Hi Jen. Thanks – I like it too. I have a sugar-free chocolate date frosting posted. You can make it with real dates because granulated date sugar has the possibility of being cross-contaminated. (see the post) I also have a cream cheese frosting that I used to ice cupcakes. Also, CakeCentral.com has a sugar-free frosting but I haven’t tried it yet. :) If I come up with anything else I will let you know. Hope that helps.

Mint ice cream… sounds delish. I’m a glutton for mint Oreo. :)
