I am so jealous that you have fresh berries already! I am still eating the ones we froze from last summer :)

    Hi Amy,

That berry lemonade smoothie is definitely screaming my name. :-)

Great recipes! Berries are slowly coming into season and making an appearance at my natural foods Coop. So exciting.

We will have to wait a bit longer up here in Scotland but when they come they are extremely delicious, probably the best in the UK as we have good berry weather compared to elsewhere (more rain to plump them). Lots of delish looking recipes to consider when the time comes. Some early stuff around but I am holding out for the good, open-field stuff rather than the pampered polytunnel offerings.

I can’t WAIT for fresh berries! I’ve been “cheating” and getting some organic Driscoll’s strawberries lately, but they’re nowhere near as good as the local ones.

    Amy Reply:

@Alta, I always cheat. I don’t have time to go to the market. I haven’t even seen any organic berries around here lately….

    Thanks for sharing!

I love any kind of berries, too! My favorite berries are strawberries and blueberries, but love raspberries and blackberries as well.

These recipes look so amazing! My mouth is watering :-) Now I cannot wait to go berry picking in June!

    Amy Reply:

@TheHolisticHealthCoach, Where do you go berry picking? We have to drive pretty far to get to a berry patch in Dallas.

    TheHolisticHealthCoach Reply:

We are very lucky, we go strawberry picking in June at a farm that is about 20 minutes away and this year in August we plan on going blueberry picking at another farm about 40 minutes away. There is nothing like fresh berries :-)
